Noise Cancelling Foam 12" x 12" x 2" Soundproof Studio Wedge Tiles

Doesn’t do anything.

The easy trick to set them up is, I stapled them to my wall where I needed them to be. Then I used a hair dryer (or heat gun). The heat will expand the foam. All done in 20 minutes.

This product works exactly as advertised. Some other reviewers are complaining that they panels didn't inflate all the way. Those reviews would be "operator error" reviews and it's fairly obvious they those few don't ever read the instructions that some with their items and they just wing it.... the instructions give 2 methods for the inflation of the foam... SOAK THE FOAM, RING IT OUT AND THROW IT IN THE DRYER. Bam... done... oh, and they don't come with adhesive but they do stick just fine with command adhesive just fine.

But apparently you have to let them foam over 48 hours, cuts look all different. Plus they wouldn't stick to 3m tape or velcro. (I needed them put up for a project in less than 12 hours)

ALL of them inflated back perfectly. I was worried they wouldn’t from some of the reviews, but after 10mins of soaking they were ready to go. The instruction says to dry them in a dryer but I plan to air dry them. I squeezed the water out and none of them were damaged. I wouldn’t say they are dense, but they are durable and keep the shapes. Also they were CHEAP! Very happy with the purchase.

I ordered one batch and loved them. I soon ordered another pack to add on to my wall, only to find after I placed them that they are thinner than my first pack. Bummer.

Not properly made some didn't even inflate. Some looked like they had been iron pressed on the sides. Tried to call for a replacement but guess no one's interested in doing that for me. So return it is. Fyi I order 6 packs of these atleast 4 of them were not up to par

This doesn’t come with adhesive and it’s just some flimsy foam. Not impressed

These panels work well and are super easy to use.I used contact cement to fasten them to my back panel and they hold well.Overall quality it good. Clean straight cuts.Sound absorption is good for the price.Would buy again

I'm happy with this product especially for this price, the soundproof is quite efficient! They came in deflated and make sure to leave them open outside baking under the sun for 24 hours to get them inflated, they will go back to normal shape! Use 3m to stick them onto the wall.

They look good on my wall and actually work as intended. They’re a good price and I would definitely recommend and would buy again.

This product is about what I expected for a lower cost solution to (some) sound deadening. While I don’t have the proper environment to test acoustics, I am going to focus on the experience of receiving and comparing this product to Auralex DST-114, another sound deadening solution I already own. My plan was to purchase red tiles to augment my existing charcoal tiles.Upon reception, I could see the difference in quality right away. (See Photos)These tiles came compressed and did require water to expand them. Given the price of the tiles, you have to consider the process of hydrating these things and then drying them. Drying without a fan could take a day or more, so be prepared to set aside space to engage in this process. After they hydrate, they do expand (for the most part).Compared to my experience with Auralex, where the foam came uncompressed, dry and ready to be installed, these red tiles are an investment in time and process even before you can install them .The tiles are softer than I expected. One of the best analogies I could think of is the feeling of inexpensive foam automotive sponges, where they aren’t great at holding water & soap, but are cheap enough to purchase and use on things like cleaning wheels.I am no acoustic specialist, but having experience with Auralex, these “12 Pack” foam tiles are not only softer, but seem to be more flexible, requiring additional consideration for installing.The tiles are bright red, and begin to bleed into pink territory. Not negative by any stretch, but something to consider if you are looking for something that is darker .Overall, these seem like a good value for the money.I recently edited this review as after I went through the process of hydrating these things, they sprung up and got pretty rigid. I was surprised how well they stood up, and will be purchasing more!

Material doesn't even stick to the walls or doors

My son had seen these panels in videos online and really wanted some for himself. They look really cool on his wall with his computer and music recording area. They also increase the sound quality by cutting off echo.Super easy to put up too you just need some adhesive spray. Really good product and they are nice and soft.
