It doesn’t seem as thick as it should be but it works.

Excellent product. Just as advertised. Timely shipment.

Doesn’t come with anything to stick to wall

These are great for the money. I feel like all of the negative reviews didn’t follow the instructions to soak them in water, all of my panels looked great after doing that. Will probably be buying more of these in the future!
Pauline
These foam panels are not bad. Good for their price. I wouldn't say they are of professional quality but they do help with dampening my partner's voice when he's teaching online or singing. He can get quite loud with headphones on. I can still hear him from the bedroom but I no longer can hear every word so that's a plus! I soaked some panels in water and left some to rise on their own. The ones I pre-soaked came out slightly thicker but nothing too significant. Going to be order more in the future. Note: if you have cats, best try to put them where they cannot reach haha you can see in the first pic that he climbed them a few times.
Joey
I used this to line a box to quiet a air pump for hydroponics. Needless to say my brain is much happier living in the same room as the pump now versus before. I even had some left over to make some sound panels for my room also (I play guitar as well).
Shane Olson
Product works exactly as described it doesn’t cut all the volume for my situation but it dampens it and take some of the reflection off the wall of the sound works great fast shipping easy to do business with
John Brancato
Keeps some noise from getting out.
Joanne
Horrible. They do NOTHING to block any kind of sound. Do not waste your money on these.
Manuel
Lo malo es que no trae con que pegarlo, utilicen silicon caliente!
Gabriel
Highly flammable, everything else is great.
Jesse
after soaking and drying panels fully, a couple panels still didnt take shape and remained deflated. Other panels took shape fine. Tried drying multiple times.
Julia
They don’t work at all. I would not buy them I think you would have to buy a hundred to see some kind of result. So I would not recommend.
Lance Dillon
Panels weren’t as thick as anticipated. A couple never expanded
anthony schacher
These 2" tiles are great, and the price is certainly right! If you follow the directions for unpacking them they will return to their proper size and shape without difficulty. Reading reviews of similar products, these tiles ARE NOT DESIGNED TO STOP SOUND. You need a hard surface to STOP sound, these panels are designed to mitigate sound recursion and reverberation. They will help sound-deaden an environment, but to stop sound from escaping a room, you need a hard and dense substrate like concrete.
Curious
They are not the end all for sound absorption but they are as advertised and a good product.
Jamie
Got these for my son - they look like the picture but don't come with adhesive - we used the tough stuff double stick tape and it has worked well, be generous with the tape a tiny bit wasn't enough, and if you are using the big double stick tape on your bare wall be prepared to paint the wall if/when you decide to take them down.

Easy to install. Used in an guitar amp isolation box project. Works great.

What a difference these made! But do read the directions and they come out perfect! Placing an order for more.

The product I received is nothing like how it is represented on Amazon!! I followed all of the unpacking instructions and the acoustic tiles are cheap garbage!!! Don’t waist your money!!!!
Aaron
They are sealed and need to expand, water help, but then you have to dry the pieces.

I hate leaving negative reviews. When a product has been poorly manufactured, it's not only best to inform other potential buyers, but the manufacturers as well. Hopefully, that gives them the time to correct the problem. After receiving the 12 pk, I removed them from the vacuum packaging and soaked them in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Almost all of the panels returned to their full original size. The 2 panels that didn't fully expand were only about 1/8th of an inch off, and only on one edge. This was not noticeable unless you were looking extremely close. Unfortunately, after letting the panels dry overnight, I noticed some MAJOR manufacturing defects.I can't even list pros and cons because I never installed them to test their sound dampening ability. This review is based on the visual condition of the item, or the aesthetic. As a content creator, I planned to install these in my new studio space. The biggest reason I picked these was for the way they would look on camera. Unfortunately, as you can see in the pictures, the acoustic panels had ridges and jagged edges that stuck out like a sore thumb. It would be extremely embarrassing to have these showing in a video. They simply looked terrible. I purchased a few other brands as well, and there is no comparison. Although one of the other brands did have some small ridges, but only on ONE of the 12 panels. All 12 panels from this brand had visible defects, some minor, some not so minor. Hopefully they can get this issue resolved, but until then, stay away!

Material arrives somewhat "thinnish" due to packaging compression but eventually rises to advertised thickness. Does reduce noise once installed

After letting these sit in the air for 24 hours without any noticeable difference I tried the water soak method. This worked great but beware: They have to be completely dry for any adhesion to work. For me, that was about one hour in a dryer set a medium. 3M double sided foam tape works fine if you won't be bumping into them. I set these behind each on my 3 monitor pairs and it helped the stereo imaging. Good cheap fix.

Joke. Fake. Waste of money. Doesn’t do squat. Tried for my home office. Very very little change. Lame. Disappointed. What a waste of time and money.
Jeffrey G.
I am waiting for more panels and bass traps besfore I install. When you receive these r un water in the tub and saturate them and then wring them out and put in the dryer on low for 25 minutes or let air dry for 24hr. Once you wring them out the panels will be fully expanded. Further review will follow once treatment is complete. Update!!! I have installed my panels and the absorbsion is noticable , the soundstage and center stage is more focused , stereo imaging is much improved. Very pleased , do your homework so that your application suits your needs.

Had to plaster these underneath and around my fridge to stop a high pitch screeching frequency noise coming from the compressor. These things do the trick! It works. You may have to double layer it in some spots but these things definitely quiet down noise. It doesn't remove the noise altogether, but it muffles it so its tolerable. Good buy. Would recommend!

Using HOT water in the tub, these expanded to full size in under a minute. Wring them out and throw them in the dryer for about 20 minutes or so. I let them air dry overnight and they retained shape and mass.I used 3M Velcro tabs to attached them to the walls, overall they do a decent job cutting the reverb in the room down. Now I realize I need way more (they are 1sqft each). I will be buying many more.

good foam, spritz with water to promote full expansion after leaving the vacuum seal. It stinks at first, somewhat acrylic, so give it some time to stretch and acclimate. Used a heavy duty stapler to put mine up. Spray adhesive did not work. Duct tape helps. Command strips won't cling to enough foam to hold.

Great as described but must use hot water to plump them up as they come very compact
Michael scott
Great value. They look pretty flat when they arrive but I let them sit out for 24hrs and they took proper shape after that, no water needed.
Luke Bischoff
Got these and they looked flat, after dunking them in water and drying then they perked right up!
Noe Roberto
I’m very disappointed I’ve purchased from this seller before and the product received was great so I decided to order some more and received defective sound panels the majority of them weren’t even cut properly and you can see the cut marks on them. They stood out even more next to the 1st ones purchased
Zachary Davis
They are about a 1/4 inch less than 2 inches thick. They are also only 11.5 inches x 11.5 inches. The faults aside, they seem to work well. I bought my own adhesive, as they do not come with any. Just make sure whatever adhesive you buy is specifically for foam. An easy remove adhesive for direct to wall installation, or a permanent adhesive for a removable panel. Again this product is only 11.5x11.5x1.75 inches.
Jay
honestly you can get better quality if you buy memory foam pillows. . . they are bit thicker. Overall you get what you pay for. They come in a bag, and as soon as you open the bag its thinned out. Of course you would have to leave it outside so the air can puff the squished foam. At the end of the day this foam is flimsy, and I wouldn't recommended it.

Bought this to line the inside of a plywood enclosure holding 2 air pumps for my fish tanks. The pads were all deformed and even after 2 days of sitting they never took the shape advertised. They also didn't help with muffling the sound very much. Skip these if you're looking for foam padding to dampen sound.
Oliver Hart
The product came torn with edges not cleanly cut. Keep in mind these are low .NRC but work for filling in space (if you absolutely need it). I use these for simple, cheap treatment of our tiled game room. I wouldn't use these in the studio because the look, range, and dampening are sub-optimal. If you're building a studio consider making your own or buying complete treatment kits that are as low as $1200 and will perform light-years better at reducing reverberation/echo.
Peter M solis
Don’t waste your time or money on this. It is very flimsy and very thin. It also does not measure to 2” thickness at all.Returning

When the product arrive, the 120 pcs of audio foam was VACUUM Packed to a very small size. After it was open, I find that the 2 inch tick seems to become 0.2 inch thick. The manual recommend how to retrieve it to its original codition : (1) Soaked thoroughly into water for 1 minutes, wring out the water and dry out ina drying machine for 5 minutes; and (2) No water, no drying machine but just spread out and leave it on the floor for 24-48 hours.CONCLUSION: I adopt No. (2) method, after 48 hour 50% of them can retrieve to its original condition, but another 50% judging from its condition that I believe have to let it be ther for another 48 hours, may be more (as I have NO time to try it).Only No. (1) method is the most effective. The following procedure are recommended: (a) Soak into the water for 10 minutes, (b) wring out the water to maximum, (c) dry out with warm temperature in a drying machine for 15-20 minutes. Use (a),(b),(c) procedure, the whole procedure can be finished in 3 hours for 120 pcs of 2 inch thick.
Maxine Mayer
Tried to muffle the noise from my neighbors with these on the walls. Might have softened it a bit, but not a ton. Easy to attach to cardboard and then to the walls, but not as sound absorbent as I would have liked.
Honray
7 of 24 panels arrived deformed after opening the package and letting the foam panels return to their intended shape. 7 of them did not return to their proper shape and substantial portions of the foam panel remain deformed after 24 hours out of the plastic vacuum bags.

We put these above cabinets in a large room to deaden the echo. Works well!
David F.
These are a good economical acoustic panel to handle light absorption. These are not heavy duty pro-level studio foam panels. But if you're looking for light absorption, they are a good deal but don't expect to soundproof/reduce or absorb heavy acoustic. They are akin to light egg crate foam material. Generally, they look good and if you are looking to stylize your studio and incorporate some light absorption, these are pretty decent. If you are looking for true pro-level foam and reduction there are better solutions available.
Justin uranus
takes awhile to decompress from shipping. once its full size its soft and squishy...... just like your mom
Angus
I decided to try these for padding inside a box I was making. Glad I did! These are much cheaper than anything else for the size I needed and they were simple to cut to size with a pair of scissors. They don't melt when you hit them with tacky spray adhesive, but best check on a small piece just to be sure.
Don
Exactly as the title says and photos! Recommend soaking and ringing out each tile and allowing to dry to get them back to factory shape. Made a big difference!

I was very skeptical to buy this after so many bad reviews, but still gave it a try after reading someones review about soaking in water. I took two pieces, one I kept it as is, the other I soaked in water. You can see the change for yourself from the image. Need to test sound proofing as well, waiting to install
ALEXANDER
it’s definitely not what I expected, it’s very poorly packaged, from the photographs you can see that they are dented, and the triangles are big and not right, I don’t advise, I want my money back
ChrisO
Strong smell like latex paint in the can and not as firm material as the Foamily product. Returning it.
DaGoat
This foam is cheap and porous. Does not dampen sound at all. Most of the pieces are not cut cleanly. Jagged edges.
Dalton
These sound absorbers look great after you let them sit for a day. All inflated correctly and have even edges. They are all the same color as well. One thing that does not come with the purchase is any kind of adhesive. Other than that I'm satisfied with my purchase. It's good quality at a reasonable price.
Bronwen Faubert
First, let me start by saying this foam is EXCELLENT for this price. It is low density foam, and this helps break up and absorb a small band of frequencies. I’d place these on a wall where I’m likely to have secondary reverb, opposite the wall receiving the majority of sound. On “that” wall, I’d put something with much higher absorption characteristics.
Mark W.
These panels were exactly what I was looking for. Easy to work with and great for absorbing sound. Quick delivery too.
Edmund E.
Bought these before. I needed more so I purchased again.
Kevin
It just doesn’t block out as much sound as I’d hope. It’s not dense enough for its intended purpose, so it’s mainly decorative for me.
Matty
Shipping was fast . Looks like a decent quality foam but compared to other products I have purchased these foam pieces had some defects to how some of the pieces were cut . The pyramid foams had little jagged cuts on some sides . It still looks ok from afar and is doing what it is supposed to do.
RTT: Guns & Gear
Having very little experience with this sort of thing, I can say that these didn't do what I thought they would do. I have a small echoey room that I record YouTube videos in. I used to hang blankets on the wall to absorb sound, but I thought I would try these. I'm not sure if one pack just wasn't enough, but they don't absorb the sound like I thought they would.
Holly Lee
This is my first all 5-star review!I have tried several other brands on acoustic foams to help with sound echo for my live stream. Not only do these baby works great, it looks a lot more expensive than it’s worth! You got to have the patience to wait 2 to 3 days for the foam to form to its full shapes; you won’t be disappointed.
Baptiste Arnoux
Incomplete. I received 6 on the 12 panels.
Sound is King
Not worth the money.
Max
Not "Acoustic" at all. This is nothing more than typical foam that is used for packing and case lining with some fancy pyramids cut into it. I bought this because I have a lot of traffic noise near my house at night and am tired of wearing ear plugs. I attached this foam to a masonite board that exactly fit my windows and placed them. No difference in sound levels at all. Don't waste your money. Buy real sound proofing insulation. The cost will be higher, but you get what you pay for.
Rider
Does the job, ive ordered 2 packs already. About to order 3rd. I used the water method.

Love it. Easy to install

These were perfect for my sound project and allowed me to arrange the panels the way I needed them.

Absolute trash. They are not even sides or same thickness.
Lacey Koontz
After letting the things sit for 3 days, and trying the soak in water method afterwards, I have 4 of 12 that are actually usable. All the rest have bent/distorted edges and corners.
a50und6uy
After over a month of waiting the foam has still not fully formed. Even with the recommended methods for restoring to natural size.
Bryan Saballo
This is literally how thick, or THIN the product is. There are better alternatives online, just saying.
Amazon Customer
They came all smushed and a mess. Left them out for 24 hours then put up. Nice thick material. Not every one was perfect, but Im quite happy with how the room turned out.
Ryan McCully
One major issue with the product, it is not as deep/thick as claimed (2 inch), it has spikes that are 1 inch tall and about 1/2 inch thick base, which makes the total thickness around 1.5inches.Additionally, they arrive compressed andunevenly smoshed, you can see in my photos two different pannels from the same package. The photos were taken after giving it a few hours to expand. Some pannels expanded back quickly, while others took several days to get back to their correct size.If they resolved their packaging and we're more honest about the size, then I'd give it a better review.

Just what I wanted
Michael P. Hammel
These are just a few of the foam pieces that came in that are not bouncing back. I am going to try and make due with them until I can afford something else. Not really something I want to use in this shape but it will help do the job still regardless of looks. The packaging just does not let all of these foam pieces form back up, and they have been out for a few days.
Byron J. Barnhart
I liked that these were just what I wanted and I received them the next day.
Matt
Received the foam tiles packed unnecessarily tight, with directions stating I have to soak the tiles in water, then blow-dry them to restore them from being so flat. I've ordered many foam tiles before and NEVER had to "restore" them myself. I do not have time for, and this extra process was never mentioned anywhere in the description. Extremely dissatisfied
LOCOCO
Although irregularly shaped (most not exactly square) in the beginning, does return to pre-vacuum packed thickness/shape...but only after more than a month...not a day or two and I'm not about to soak them with water and then dry them as that is a waste of my time.
Israel Rodriguez
Trash. They are not close to being over 1in thick. And look like have been cut by a 6 year old.

I used this foam on my drum room walls to help deaden the room. The foam helps to dampen any echos. I had to pour some water on the foam get it to expand to its normal size.

I got these to put on my ceiling, I was tired of hearing my neighbor snore above me and tired of being paranoid that they could hear me moving or getting up on my bed.-came Squished so I was like crap, but then I ran through bathtub water thoroughly and then rung out and let dry for an hour and they turned massive and very thickly dense.- used panel I ordered, then went and bought foam poster board panels- nailed the panels in/ screwed some in ceilings with drill/hammer- used nails with solid flathead base (regular nail) and hammered them in corners and middles of foam and they all stick and stay perfectI can’t hear the neighbor snore AT ALL ANYMORE, and feel more comfortable and less paranoid that they can hear me now too. Ordering more soon to cover more.Just use nails for putting it in ceiling til it’s firmly in the ceiling, flat head nails. Having (acoustic I think they were called) panels I ordered in 6 each, should have ordered more, from amazon works great, also bought thick foam poster board for cheaper panel too.Called bxi acoustic panels on amazon I think.

First, let me start by saying this foam is EXCELLENT for this price. It is low density foam, and this helps break up and absorb a small band of frequencies. I’d place these on a wall where I’m likely to have secondary reverb, opposite the wall receiving the majority of sound. On “that” wall, I’d put something with much higher absorption characteristics.Depending on what you’re trying to accomplish, these squares are only a small part of a bigger puzzle. If you’re looking to sound-proof a room, you actually need thick, dense material... such as cement. However, nobody is going to pour a cement wall into their home. If you’d like to increase the absorption, I suggest adhering these squares to an old memory foam mattress-topper (the 2 to 4 inch ones that were relatively useless on an already bad mattress), and cut the topper according to how you intend to mount it (e.g. individual squares vs one large piece.

Right out of the package they looked pretty rough. I put like 6 out on a table overnite. In the morning, they still didn't look very good.So i experimented. I put some in my clothes dryer for 10 min on high heat. They looked way better. Then i took a hair dryer and went over them. They looked perfect after that. Great deal. Thx.
